Individual

Psychotherapy for adolescents and adults. I have experience and training in a wide range of therapeutic topics. I work collaboratively with clients to identity and work towards their personal goals. I incorporate coping skills tailored to each client throughout our work together.

Couples

Therapy for couples applies to any and all relationship arrangements, levels of commitment, sexual orientations, and gender identities. Every case is unique – there is no “right” way to be in a relationship. I focus on your needs and desires as a couple with the underlying goal of each partner feeling respected and heard.

Families

The more members of a family and/or household that can attend session, the better! Improvements can generally be reached easier and persist over time when more family members are involved in the therapeutic process. Any and all familial concerns, from whichever member, are valid and appropriate for therapy. I focus on the needs of the family as a whole as well as its individual members with the underlying goal of each member feeling respected and heard, no matter their age or position in the family system.

The first session is for the client to meet the therapist and evaluate the therapist – client relationship. Not all therapists are going to be a great fit for all clients. The first session also gives the therapist an opportunity to assess what the problem is and help the client come up with goals to resolve the problems. Typically within the first three sessions the client and therapist will sign off on a treatment plan that will outline the goals and timeline for therapy and interventions. The treatment plan is a guide that can be changed at any time. Following the assessment and development of a treatment plan the therapist and client will work towards the goals.
All therapy sessions are conducted via a secure and easy-to-use tele-health platform. I send you a link prior to our session and am available to assist with any technical difficulties as best as I can.
The initial intake session is 60 minutes. After that sessions are 50 minutes for individuals and 60 minutes for couples.
